Horse Flats – Angeles National Forest

The campground, for both equestrian and non-equestrian campers, is composed of a single, large loop in sagebrush, Ponderosa pine, and Manzanita. There are hitching rails and small pipe corrals at camp sites 6 through 10. Although some tent site parking aprons will accommodate horse trailers, parking on them is limited. About half the tent sites are walk-in and some sites
are clustered providing a group environment. Although there are no grilles, each campsite has a fire ring.
